Ko sem v februarju ob cerkvici sv. Petra na Vrhu nad Želimljami dobila prstan, ki ga je Aljaž naredil kar sam, je bilo res vse še tako daleč. Za valentinovo sva šla po "uradni" cerkveni zaroki na srečanje s papežem Frančiškom v Rim. Bilo je nepozabno lepo, še najbolj to, da sva si lahko vzela čas drug za drugega. Začela sva s pripravami na poroko - tako prihično kot organizacijsko, sedaj delava predvsem na zagotavljanju financ ... ni poceni, to je res. Vseeno pa komaj čakam, da zazveni najina poročna koračnica! :)
Komaj čakam, da tudi Aljaž pride domov, da dorečeva podrobnosti glede glasbenega dogodka ali dogodkov, ki jih bova še organizirala. Tale blog je namenjen tudi predstavitvi, vsega kar počneva in kdor še ne ve, ustvarjava tudi glasbo za poročne obrede. Prav v pripravah na najino poroko ima to še poseben čar, saj zares lahko deliva veselje z mladoporočenci, ki se odločijo za najin nastop na svoji poroki.

Finally, I have the time to give my contribution to the latest happenings on this blog. I came home from Perugia yesterday, and after getting enough sleep, I'm finally ready to carry with business as usual.
Perugia was my last tour and Saturday saw my last official concert with the choir APZ Tone Tomšič Univerze v Ljubljani. As if that wasn't enough, Saturday was also the last official concert of the choir's conductor, Sebastjan Vrhovnik. It was an emotional experience for all involved, but Saturday marked the ending of a unforgettable 3-year period for me (more on that elsewhere at another time). Thank you, APZ Tone Tomšič! :)
But now that I'm back I can start working towards financing my wedding, Way back in February, it all seemed so far away, and when I "proposed" to Kristina, neither of us really imagined what organising a wedding really means.
But really, organising the wedding isn't such a big deal, people just seem to make such a fuss about it. What really gets you is the financial aspect of it all. A thousand little odds and ends that all cost something amount to a substantial bill at the end of it. To make the bill seem a bit less frightening, Kristina and I have started our own business by combining Kristina's stunning voice and my ability to make a more or less sensible noise with a guitar. The results can be heard in the videos attached to this post, I hope you like them. :)
